MBBS DM
Dr. Ankesh Gupta is a dynamic Infectious Diseases specialist and the first holder of a DM degree in Infectious Diseases in Madhya Pradesh. Renowned for his excellent academic record, Dr. Gupta has consistently been a topper from his medical entrance exams to his DM exit exams.
After securing a top rank in the All India Pre-Medical Test (AIPMT), Dr. Gupta pursued his MBBS at Medical College, Vadodara. He achieved an impressive All India Rank of 29 in the AIIMS-PG entrance exam, allowing him to enroll in the prestigious 6-year DM Infectious Diseases course at AIIMS, New Delhi.
During his residency, Dr. Gupta was honored by the President of India on August 15, 2020, for his outstanding work during the COVID-19 pandemic. He has also participated in various international observerships, including the ESCMID Summer School in Seville, Spain, and a Transplant Infectious Diseases observership at Stanford Medical Center, California, USA.
Dr. Gupta has contributed significantly to the field of Infectious Diseases, authoring the national module on extra-pulmonary tuberculosis management as well as various research articles and medical books. Upon completing his academic training, he returned to his hometown and is now serving at Bombay Hospital, Indore.

Author of "Training Module on Extrapulmonary Tuberculosis 2023" by WHO and Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, India. The Prime Minister of India released the module on World TB Day. Served as a co-editor and co-author for chapters on Lymph node TB, Pleural TB, Tuberculosis diagnostics, Treatment, and Follow-up.
