Background

Dr. Ashwin Parchani is an accomplished Internal Medicine Physician with a rich academic and professional background. He completed his MBBS from Kasturba Medical College, Manipal University on a merit-based scholarship. He later pursued an MD in General Medicine from the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), Rishikesh, where he also did his senior residency in Geriatrics (Elderly medicine). Driven by his interest in diabetes management, Dr. Parchani pursued further training in the form of CPCDM (RSSDI-certified course in diabetology).

Dr. Parchani has extensive experience working in various healthcare settings, including volunteer missions in East Africa and the Philippines. He has published multiple research papers, presented at numerous conferences, and authored book chapters. Dr. Parchani was awarded the 'Resident Doctor of the Year' award in 2021 by the American College of Physicians India Chapter. Notably, he has represented India in prestigious competitions and meetings, including the G20 Summit in Brazil and the Lindau Nobel Laureate Meeting in Germany. Additionally, Dr. Parchani is deeply involved in teaching and mentoring medical students and junior doctors.
